I am sorry he had to leave, Marilyn. It is so hard to say goodbye, but know that your time together made a difference! Thank you for mentoring your child and God bless you!

My student did not have his mother at home with him. He missed her so much. We did dedicate his “All About Me” journal to his mom. There were heartwarming pictures he drew. One was a hot air balloon where the two of us would be drifting away on an adventure. This special moment was what mentoring is all about, and I pray that he sees his mom again (and me!).
